LINEN
CHUTE SPECIFICATIONS
Soiled
linen is usually bagged or bundled before it is loaded
into the chute. Therefore, the side hinged doors with
large clear openings are used most often on linen chutes.
Our doors, with specially designed cantilevered brackets,
provide a full 180 degree opening to alleviate broken
closures as experienced on other designs. Hospitals
generate about 15 pounds of soiled linen per bed per
day. (Hotels and motels a little less). The use of disposables
may reduce these figures.
