When using an extruder compactor, the custodian must separate the extruded tube of refuse into individual bags. The45K has a unique fluted throat which produces a tube of waste that is easily separated saviing valuable time and labor. The 45KSR provides the same features as the 45K but has a slightly smaller charging chanber and is shorter in length.

General Description
Hydraulically
operated compactor utilizing the extrusion principle.
Refuse is forced through the nose of the compactor reducing
volume. 50 degree impact plate reduces noise and blockages.

prepackaged power system with components rated at 3000
psi, but operates at a recommended pressure of 1100
psi for longer life and low maintenance.

Automatic Shut-off Control
Compactor
automatically shuts off to prevent damage from an oversized
or uncrushable object. Door shut-off switch instantly
shuts off packer when service door is opened.
Automatic Refuse Sensor
Photoelectric
receiver with long-life solid state components starts
compaction cycle when refuse enters hopper and turns
off machine when hopper is empty.
